Eir Vote is a mobile application that is used for voting in Irish referendums & elections. This was a college project I undertook in 2019. The task was to create a functioning application prototype of a voting app that would encourage more people to vote during political referendums & elections.
When a user opens the app they are welcomed to the home page. This page of the Eire Vote app consisted of two sections these were known as the latest news and voting polls. These two sections were used as shortcuts so that the user could view the latest polls when on the home page as well as the latest political news.
The voting page allowed the user to cast their vote within a referendum or election campaign. The user would be brought to their voting region and from their the user would select a campaign where they would then cast thier vote. Once the user would cast their vote they would then be brought to a confirmation page to confirm their selection.
The polls page contained two types of polls one for referendums and the other was for the elections. A user would view this page to see how individuals or parties are ranked during the elections or what decision had the most amount of votes during referendums.
The news page holds multiple articles that are related to the current political affairs and voting situations. A user would use this page to view the latest political news and follow current political trends.
